Color, Color Everywhere, Part 2

If you’re a regular reader of this blog (and I hope you are!) you may remember that back in May i mentioned my love of brights for summer. I’m thinking the dog days of summer that are now upon us might be a good time to reiterate the fabulosity of wearing cheerful colors that brighten your mood and wardrobe. I was then (and still am) in love with the color orange and advising that the citrus hues were a great find for warmer climes. I’d like to now switch over to another beverage and talk about grape and apple green.
A royal purple can be so flattering to so many skin tones – especially darker ones – so when you can’t sip the vino there’s nothing wrong with wearing a little something that reminds one of the grape. The other color I’m loving for this staple Due Crewneck Cotton Tee is the grass green. When I look at it I think of a shiny Granny Smith apple and yummy pie. But I might just be having cravings… Anyway, paired with navy shorts or capris it’s a classic choice that begs for clean white accessories. I love that outfit with simple sneaks like Keds. And at a little over $30 on sale, I say stock up on these tees!
